In November 2016, we went to Bali and stayed at The Royal Tulip Visesa Resort & Spa at Ubud, Bali. This is a five star resort at Ubud, the villa is surrounded by green landscape and organic rice paddies. Desa Visesa offers exclusive experience of authentic Balinese daily life, feel the fresh air and also the warmth of the villagers smile.
Why we choose this resort? We realllyyyy love Bali! Many times visited this beautiful island, but never try to stay at Ubud. And we heard that Visesa is the newest resort at Ubud area, so curious about this resort by looking their website! So we decided to stay here 🙂
Don’t forget to booked the airport pick up, because Ubud is quite far from Ngurah Rai Airport. We arrived at Bali at 12 pm and the traffic was so insane! We spend about 2,5 hours to get to Ubud (we expected only 1 hour driving) 😦
Too bad that we arrived at the resort at 3 p.m, and we were soooo starving! Thank God, the checked in was smooth, and all the staff are so humble and nice. We got fresh flowers and also rice on our forehead (Bali traditional culture), then the staff offer us to explore the whole resort using boogie car, we saw rice fields, small chapel, the spa place, and many more.
And we finally checked in to our room! The villa was so spacious! It’s 225 m2 with jungle and lagoon view, me likeeeyyy so much #eyeblinking

We rent this floaties at Instagram, and so happy with the result 🙂 The swimming pool is only 120cm deep, and we enjoyed it so much especially with the gold swan.
Okaayyy, i already tell you that we came here with starving condition. so i did stupid thing ever! I FORGOT TO CAPTURE THE MAIN ROOM! OMG 😦
When i came back from our super late lunch, it was like “KAPAL PECAH” 😦 Because me and Billy already left the room when our friends came. HUUUUUUU SOO SAD! The one that i took was the second room.

At the main room, the bathroom was so spacious, there’s a bathtub, open air shower, 2 sinks and a wardrobe. Ngarep banget bisa mandi kaya gini setiap hari! Hahahaha.
After spend a whole night with comfortable room and great friends, we woke up and need breakfast! Visesa served their buffet breakfast at the main lobby with public swimming pool view.
They served International buffet breakfast with mostly American Breakfast. The breakfast was so good! Everything was well prepared 🙂
Overall, this is a pleasant stay for us. The staff was so nice, the facilities was a five star, and also the food was amazing. I do recommend you guys to stay in here when you go to Bali. Ubud is like a different part of Bali, if you are looking for relaxation, traditional culture and green area, please do visit Ubud!
