Have you ever considered to explore North Bali? Most travelers always spend their holiday in South Bali, right? There are lots of remarkable destination here in North Bali. One of them is Secret Garden Village. For me, this place is kinda a win-win solution for everyone who travels together and has a different traveling preference.
First of all, the location is in Bedugul area and has an area of 3.7 hectares. They bring “Edu-Vacation” concept and claimed they are the first educational tourism in Bali. The facilities include beauty museum, cosmetic manufacturing, factory and laboratory tour, beauty store, roastery, coffee shop, 2 restaurants, and wedding chapel.
Ticket price :
Infant (0-3yr) : FREE
Child (4-12yr) : IDR 35k (domestic) IDR 70k (foreign)
Adult (>12yr) : IDR 50k (domestic) IDR 100k (foreign)
All about beauty is in here! They have a beauty heritage museum where you will be guided to see the collection of historical beauty items and Indonesian origin plant. And then if you wish, you can join Soap Making Class with an additional fee at IDR 125k/person like my friends and I did! It was really fun!
After the class, you learn about Indonesian Beauty Heritage in their cubical theatre (short movie). It’s only around 5 minutes tho! Then, you can walk right away to the Beauty Store that sells Herborist and Secret Garden products. They have beauty gourmet where you can experience the exclusive Beauty Store concept with interactive gourmet chef demo and fragrance Bartender! So interesting!
Black Eye Coffee & Roastery
Hey, you a coffee addict! This place belongs to you! Your entrance ticket is included a roastery tour. However, if you want to learn more about latte art, there will be another extra cost 🙂 Besides coffeeshop and roastery, they have a store sells the best Indonesian coffee selection!
Ah! Don’t forget to take your 3D photo here! You can find it easily in front of Black Eye Coffeeshop 🙂
Rice View restaurant offers you a paddy field view. Even you can enjoy your food in the middle of the field if you can handle the heat by the way! Hahaha!
They have 2 restaurants here, Rice View and The Luwus. The Luwus located near the beauty heritage museum and served Indonesian cuisine while Rice View served Western cuisine. However, you can order both if you want to 🙂
Let’s enjoy the view while slurping a cup of tea/coffee accompanied by high tea package at Rice View! Served in a cage, the high tea is really instagramable right?! Chicken satay, crispy klepon, assorted cakes, chocolate pie, salted fish nori, bruschetta, and gethuk lindri are ready for you!
Seafood Fried rice in a bamboo leaf then they oven it! Voila! Here is your Nasi Panggang 🙂 Unique presentation and tasty!
Sate Ayam Bawah Pohon Jambu
If you know sate babi bawah pohon which very popular amongst tourists, they also have it but in “halal” version 🙂 Taste is the same as sate babi bawah pohon but different texture! LOL!
Sate Lilit Ikan
Black Bun Burger
They also have western menus like I said earlier. This is a burger with black bun, beef patty, salad, and french fries.
Pork Bacon Carbonara
It’s a non halal menu! Pork bacon carbonara is really mouthwatering right??
